Build your Confidence

Confidence does not grow on trees; you’ve got to build it. Just remember one thing; a confident person can move mountains and a weak and depressed person can only sit and cry. Now it is you who has to decide, whether you want to be strong and successful or you want to be a failure. Something tells me that you want to be strong and successful. If so then stop feeling sorry for yourself, stop complaining and start working on your confidence and yes let’s move mountains…

What is it that frightens you the most?

The fear of being laughed at! That people will ridicule you or make fun of your activities. Now listen to me! People will laugh at you, no matter what you do- good or bad (don’t you do the same too?), so why not do that which is good and beneficial to you.

Follow the example of the frog who just didn’t listen to what the people said and went on to achieve what he wanted to:

There once was a bunch of tiny frogs, who arranged a running competition. The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower. A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants…The race began…

Honestly:

No one in the crowd really believed that the tiny frogs would reach the top of the tower.

You heard statements such as: “Oh, WAY too difficult!! They will NEVER make it to the top.”

or: “Not a chance that they will succeed. The tower is too high!”

The tiny frogs began collapsing. One by one…… Except for those who in a fresh tempo were climbing higher and higher…

The crowd continued to yell “It is too difficult!!! No one will make it!”

More tiny frogs got tired and gave up…

…But ONE continued higher and higher and higher… This one wouldn’t give up!

At the end everyone else had given up climbing the tower. Except for one tiny frog who after a big effort was the ONLY ONE who reached the top!

Obviously, all of the other tiny frogs naturally wanted to know how this one frog managed to do it?

A contestant asked the tiny winner frog, how he had found the strength to reach the goal?

It turned out… That the winner was DEAF!

Did you get it? The frog won because he was not listening to the people criticizing him, all he was concerned about was how to reach the top.

If you want to be successful and reach the top, you will have to stop listening to what others are saying and start concentrating on your goal. Only your goal should matter- work towards it, cherish it and let nothing stand between you and your goal—NOT even yourself.

All the criticism and sniggers will stop once you have reached your goal. But until then have a skin of a rhino and work hard. You keep asking me via mails, how to get a job? In my opinion, it’s easy to get a job, but to sustain it is difficult. Equip yourself for the job that you want in every way possible and you will see that the jobs will start coming to you.

Start now…
