3. PTE-Pearson Tests of English

The Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) is the English test trusted by universities, colleges and governments around the world.  PTE Academic is accepted by thousands of universities worldwide, including prestigious institutions such as Harvard Business School, INSEAD and Yale. PTE Academic is also accepted for visa purposes by the Australian and New Zealand governments.

4. GRE-  Graduate Record Examination

The Graduate Record Examinations is a standardized test that is an admissions requirement for most graduate schools in the United States. The GRE is owned and administered by Educational Testing Service. The GRE test examines a student’s analytical writing, quantitative reasoning and verbal reasoning.  Many graduate schools in the United States require GRE results as part of the admissions process.

 

5. GMAT- The Graduate Management Admission Test

The Graduate Management Admission Test is a computer adaptive test used to evaluate certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA. The test examines a student’s quantitative reasoning, verbal reasoning, integrated reasoning, and analytical writing.

6. SAT – Scholastic Aptitude Test

The SAT is a standardized test widely used for college admissions in the United States.  The scores of SAT are used by most universities and colleges offering undergraduate programs in the U.S.  The test examines a student’s Writing, critical reading, and mathematics.

If you are planning to get admitted in a US undergraduate university, SAT exam becomes essential.

Test format:-

The SAT is three hours long. The optional Essay is an additional 50 minutes.

Reading Test – 65 minutes, 52 questions

Writing and Language Test – 35 minutes, 44 questions

Math Test – two sections:

1) No calculator – 25 minutes, 20 questions

2) Calculator permitted – 55 minutes, 38 questions
